Award winning film, theatre and opera director, classically trained musician, music composer and magician. NIDA Directing graduate. Bayreuth Opera Award – Kala Khoj. Pat Parker Memorial Fellowship. Bachelor of Media (Writing). Masters thesis “Language of objects, and audience affects”. Has composed 14 music albums, and has worked in the magic and illusion industry for 15 years professionally.
Stage manager, event co-ordinator, and theatre facilitator. He was involved with Shortcuts Film Festival as stage manager (2009, 2010, 2011) and production manager (2012, 2013). From 2010 to 2012, Andy was Creative Producer at Powerhouse Youth Theatre mentoring young artists, technicians and event producers.
Classically trained percussionist. Professional drummer for many years with TaikOz (the biggest taiko drumming group in Australia).
Graduate of UWS Theatre Nepean. Television credits: Rescue: Special Ops (2009), Cops LAC (2010), Tough Nuts (2010), Foxtel’s Behind Mansion Walls (2011) and Deadly Women (2011).
PhD candidate at UNSW in Opera. Previous work with Opera Australia. Classically trained pianist.
